Episode highlights train’s locally sourced, scratch-cooked dining
CANON CITY, CO – The Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Colorado’s most historic and scenic railway, will be featured in a new episode of Food Factory: Night Shift premiering on FYI at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 31. The episode titled Chew-Chew! highlights the train’s locally sourced, scratch-cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner train experiences. Click here for a preview.
The Food Factory production team spent two days filming on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad last fall, capturing the complete scratch-cooked dining experience – from kitchen to table – during a ride through Colorado’s grandest canyon. The train has long been known for its delicious dining and recently updated its casual and fine dining menus to focus on locally sourced and organic ingredients.
More than 100,000 people from around the world ride aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad each year.
