Please note that we seat in parties of 4. In the tradition of railroad dining, parties of 2 will most likely be seated across from another couple. Most of our guests enjoy meeting fellow rail fans. When seated with another couple, you and your guest will be seated on the same side. Larger groups will be seated in adjacent rows. Seating is limited and trains sell out quickly, so make your reservations early!

Every effort will be made to accommodate any special dietary or physical needs. Join us for a Four-Course Pairing Experience featuring Colorado Craft Distillers

Back just in time to kick off 2020 right, running from now through February 23!

Spirits through the Gorge is the Royal Gorge Route Railroad’s four-course foodie excursion featuring some of the best local spirits distilled in Colorado paired with our made-from-scratch small plates.

As we make our way through the spectacular Royal Gorge, let us know when you’re ready for your favorite spirit mixed in a complementary, signature cocktail just for you.

February. 2nd – Deerhammer Distillery:

First Pairing: Tender Colorado Bourbon BBQ Quail seasoned and grilled to perfection, then simmered in our own bourbon BBQ sauce. Served over Colorado Quinoa and rice, and topped with a crisp rainbow carrot slaw. Paired with Deerhammer’s American Single Malt Whiskey.

Second Pairing: Colorado Redbird chicken seasoned, grilled, pulled and tossed with peppers, onion, celery and grapes in a creamy, hint-of-sweet dressing. Served on a Croissant with melted Swiss. Paired with Deerhammer’s Straight Bourbon.

Third Pairing: Blackened Atlantic Swordfish dredged in our own Cajun spice blend, grilled and placed on a bed of fresh mixed greens. Candied pecans, feta and raspberries on top with a smoky Champagne vinaigrette. Paired with Deerhammer’s Dutch Style Gin.

Fourth Pairing: Tender Colorado Prime Rib French Dip slow roasted for 8 hours, sliced thin and steeped in au jus. Served on a mini brioche with extra au jus on the side. Paired with Deerhammer’s Rough and Tumble Hickory Smoked Whiskey.
