Warm up from the inside out with one of our holiday cocktails or your personal favorites from our extensive bar selection. Then, enjoy fresh, delicious offerings from our 403 Grill menu (named after our 1950’s locomotive) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gather around our tasty appetizers and order your favorites for lunch, like our Angus Burger, Salad, Wrap, or Basil Chicken Panini. Riding the Breakfast Train? Your choice of our hearty breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy or cinnamon roll are always available on our morning departures.
Wander outside anytime to experience our open observation car. You’ll enjoy 360° views of the rushing Arkansas River, geological formations within the Royal Gorge, and historic sites. Remember your coat, gloves and holiday cheer!

TRIP DURATION:
9:00 AM, 12:30, 4:00 & 7:00 PM Departures: Approximately 1 Hour & 45 Minutes
ARRIVAL:
Please arrive 60-90 minutes prior to departure to pick up your tickets and get your photo taken.
Please Note
We recommend arriving 1-1.5 hours in advance of your scheduled departure time to get your photos and golden tickets to take onboard! Early arriving passengers may be allowed to pre-board to get settled in for the unforgettable journey ahead. Please note that all guests are assigned seating and arriving early does not allow you to pick your seats.

Make sure your family Holiday memories last well beyond your trip by taking home a beautiful custom Holiday Premium Photo Folio. These folios include a magical Holiday Golden Ticket for children to have punched by the Conductor during your journey. Our professional photographers will put your family in the middle of the Holiday action with our custom photo backgrounds.
These folios can be pre-purchased at special advanced pricing of $30 for the premium folio or flash drive. There is also an opportunity to purchase the photo or flash drive the day of your trip for the regular price of $35.

Our Santa Fe Depot retail experience is chock-full of holiday gifts, ornaments, decor, wearables and toys you’ll love. You may also pre-purchase our custom 2026 Santa Express Ornament. When pre-purchasing, your ornament gift voucher will be with your train tickets at the Santa Fe Depot. It can be redeemed in our Gift Shop before or after your journey aboard the Holiday Train.

- $139 Adult /$134 Child (ages 1-12) – Vista Dome: Offers the most spectacular views of the breathtaking Royal Gorge and the mighty Arkansas River. Vista Dome offers comfortable booth-styled seats for a relaxing trip through this meandering canyon.
- $129 Adult / $124 Child (ages 1-12) – Deluxe Class: Comfortable table style seating in one of our historic Club cars. Featuring unique warm woods and large picture windows that showcases the beautiful canyon during our majestic winter season.
- $109 Adult / $104 Child (ages 1-12) – Coach Class: Comfortable seats with expansive windows that showcase pristine views throughout one of Colorado’s grandest canyons.

Wheelchair Accessibility
The train can accommodate a limited number of wheelchair patrons per each train departure. The Vista Dome is not accessible to wheelchairs. Guests must be able to climb 14 steps on their own in order to sit in the Dome Cars.
Please call Reservations if you have a wheelchair (24″maximum at base), walker, or difficulties climbing stairs. For questions about the accessibility of the train and its different classes, please call prior to booking a reservation on our website. All seating is assigned/reserved and cannot be guaranteed. Please call a representative at 719-276-4000 to book your tickets for the entire party with a wheelchair or movement-impaired passenger.

We urge you to make your reservation early for Santa Express because most dates sell out weeks or months in advance. Please have alternative dates in mind in case your choice of date is unavailable. Please also note that all seats are pre-assigned at time of booking. Specific seating locations cannot be guaranteed. Parties of more than 4 will be seated across the aisle or back to back. When selecting a date, if you do not see the ticket quantity selection, that particular class of service is sold out.
If you made your original reservation online and wish to add more guests to your reservation, please call reservations at 719.276.4000. If you wish to sit with another family which has made their reservation, please call our reservations department prior to making your own reservation. If multiple reservations are made, we cannot ensure that you will be seated together.
