• Ticket Price: Starts at $139 per adult / $134 per child (ages 2-12) on non-peak journeys & $154 per adult / $149 per child (ages 2-12) on peak journeys. Peak pricing applies at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
• Includes: Journey. Dining, beverages and gratuity are additional. We recommend our dining offer, which features your choice of made-to-order entree, plus a draft beer, glass of wine or soft drink, and a gift — a limited-edition commemorative pint glass. See below for more details.
• Seating: Seating is limited due to popularity. The Royal Gorge Route Railroad seats in tables of four. In keeping with railroad tradition, parties of two might be combined to sit together at a table of four. When seated with another couple, you and your guest will be seated on the same side of the table. Parties of four will always be seated at the same table.
• Children: Children under 2 years old may ride free as long as they don’t require a seat. If they require a seat, please purchase a children’s ticket

• Pre-purchase your meal and enjoy a complimentary drink—your choice of draft microbrew, glass of wine, or soft drink—paired with a limited-edition commemorative pint glass to take home. Select your entrée onboard from our popular grill menu, where all of our delicious entrees are prepared fresh onboard the train. Options include our juicy Angus Burger, Chicken Pesto Panini, Grilled Chicken Bacon Cheddar Sandwich, Turkey Bacon Hoagie, Veggie Wrap, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Signature Salad. $35 per person.

In the longstanding tradition of railroad dining, please note that we seat in parties of 4. Parties of 2 will most likely be seated across from another couple. This is an incredible opportunity to meet fellow rail fans, travelers, and new friends. When seated with another couple, you and your guest will be seated on the same side. Larger groups will be seated in adjacent rows.

We offer a full menu of dining options and do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions our passengers may have. For serious allergies, please call our reservations line at 719-276-4000 in advance of your ride to ensure our team is aware of your needs. However, because we serve known allergens, please be advised that we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

The train can accommodate a limited number of wheelchair patrons per each train departure. The Vista Dome is not accessible to wheelchairs. Guests must be able to climb 14 steps on their own in order to sit in the Dome Cars.

Please call Reservations if you have a wheelchair (24″maximum at base), walker, or difficulties climbing stairs. For questions about the accessibility of the train and its different classes, please call prior to booking a reservation on our website. All seating is assigned/reserved and cannot be guaranteed.
