Renowned Las Vegas culinary icon Johnny Church is making a dramatic shift from Nevada to the Colorado countryside. Known for his executive leadership at high-profile venues like Paris Las Vegas’ Eiffel Tower Restaurant and Mandalay Bay’s Aureole, Church is taking the helm at a brand-new, independent fine-dining destination.
Antithesis is set to open on August 12 in Cañon City, a Fremont County home-rule city with a population of fewer than 20,000 residents, located over two hours south of Denver.
The restaurant is housed inside a 19th-century mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Backed by Mark and Dawn Greksa, the entrepreneurs behind the successful Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Antithesis aims to blend historical charm with forward-thinking gastronomy.
